In 1986, Mary Jane Palmer Nunlist founded Palmer
Temps, Inc. to meet the specific needs of local businesses for clerical
and factory workers. Four years later, Palmer Temps received the
Crescendo Award honoring the Cincinnati area's 50 fastest-growing,
privately-held companies. In 1995 the Mid-Miami Valley Chamber of
Commerce awarded Palmer Temps a "Faith in the Future Award," honoring
area businesses dedicated to improving the standard of life in the local
community.
As
customer needs developed for more comprehensive personnel services,
Palmer Temps responded by expanding their employee base to meet
technical and professional business needs. In addition, the formation of
two divisions, ComputerTutor and Palmer Personnel Solutions, offer
expanded one-stop personnel services.
In 1995, The Palmer Group became the parent company of Palmer Temps,
ComputerTutor and Palmer Personnel Solutions. A 6,000 square foot
building expansion brought all three divisions together in the same
modern facility. Again in 1996 and 2001, the Mid-Miami Valley Chamber of
Commerce awarded Palmer Temps a "Faith in the Future Award". Palmer
Temps was a finalist in the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau 2001 Torch
Award for market place ethics.
The Palmer Group is an active member of the American Staffing
Association. The Palmer Group is an Ohio corporation and is
independently owned and offers individualized, flexible service to our
customers. We follow a meaningful code of ethics and maintain a
contemporary outlook within the fast changing personnel industry.
When Mary Jane opened Palmer Temps she had one objective: to provide our
customers with the highest quality of temporary clerical and industrial
staffing that could be found in Butler County. She wanted a company that
would proudly bear her name for years to come and be a standard for
excellence. Over twenty years later, that is precisely the type of
service The Palmer Group still provides and represents. |
